With some of your concert albums, I get an idea of the music - ok, it may be the wrong idea, that's just how it goes - when I look at the photos. This one, even though I looked at the whole album on picasa, I just couldn't tell. Nothing to do with your photos I hasten to add, just that I find the clues confusing. They're reading scores and called a trio, could be classical then. BUT they're electric instruments and called a trio so they could be jazz. Then there's the title 'Dreamy'. . . Hmm, probably some sort of renaissance-bebop-hiphop-trance kind of a groove.
Well, actually they were a jazz trio (well and most probably still are). But they are a bit sort of young and inexperienced... you know straight from school sort of thingy... So it is jazz (pretyy much jazz standards), but it is all played from scores... and I had a feeling that even the improvisations were in fact written on the scores, and were as such more their versions of a song rather than an improvisation... As far as dreamy goes, it was more to do with her expression on the photo rather than the concert as such... The good part was that they had fun and were smiling throughout the concert...
