Happy new year to you all!!!

A few minutes to go... (Hope you get to spent an extraordinary amount of time doing what you truly love)

Thursday 28 December 2017

Went to a blues concert

to cheer myself up and the Right Reverend Swiftly LeZarre managed this gargantuan task

but then came the lively Swing Boheme and just ruined it all (not their fault, just not the right music to suit the mood).

Friday 15 December 2017

Michele & Romeo pre-Christmas special

 Romeo

 Michele

and guests (Ruth)

and Ren (there were more and you can find the photos of them if you put a tiny bit of effort in this)

Thursday 14 December 2017

The monthly

silent walk for Grenfell, joined by the fire fighters who were there on the day. After trying to find a way of doing something to support the people affected, my dad came up with an excellent suggestion and I have already started working on it. Love to you all.

Friday 8 December 2017

Brexmas

exhibition (the place reminded me a bit of the Alkatraz Gallery in Ljubljana) (and this sculpture shows how Brexit will suck the life out of you)

followed by Portobello choir (which reminded me of Kombinat (It is bloody obvious that I miss Ljubljana and all the peeps I know there))

Saturday 2 December 2017

Saturday afternoon at Acklam

with Shaun Kelly (from Shaun Kelly and the Returned Gifts)

the girl from Twin Arrow playing the theremin

and Vina Rose sending us gently into the night

Friday 1 December 2017

Finally

I was back taking photos at performances. This time it was four performances by the students of the South Bank University, who had two weeks to develop performances in the church of St. George the Martyr. I haven't done performances for such a long time and I enjoyed it so much I almost forgot that my shoulders don't work (until I was reminded by the pain that occurred when I tried to lower myself to the floor), but I had such a great time it didn't really matter (so give me more I say).

Wednesday 29 November 2017

After a while

I met some of my friends at the Green Note (where they always make you feel at home), where we listened to some English musicians who met in Nashville.

Sunday 26 November 2017

Midnight Poem

After knowing Katie for a while and only hearing her sing in her car, I have finally heard her sing live.

Friday 10 November 2017

It is about as much as

my shoulder's can take these days. I can just about carry the most essential equipment to the closest venue to me, and take a few photographs.

Monday 23 October 2017

On my way

back home from South Bank university, where I did a bit of photography work,

I stumbled across some London wildlife.

Sunday 22 October 2017

Sunday 15 October 2017

A day trip to Margate

where I got quite a few nice pics, and while there I also went to see the Turner gallery where I saw the exhibition ARP The Poetry of Forms (one for my friend Jaka), a few Turner's paintings (I do love them) and Tracy Emin's bed (for all of those who thought I went for a day trip to the seaside and just end up photographing beds).

Friday 13 October 2017

First I saw

Siv Jakobsen at my local Rough Trade

and then I went to the Monarch in Camden where I saw the Scarletinas (well this is obviously just the singer)

The Shakers

and Gaygirl

Thursday 12 October 2017

Spent the afternoon

strolling around Tate Modern, looking at a few of the current exhibitions

and in the evening I went to the concert of Hladno pivo, which was strange as I was in a concert hall in the middle of London, but everyone spoke one of the former Yugoslav languages.

Wednesday 11 October 2017

Started the afternoon

with the Origami dance performance (by Satchie Noro & Silvain Ohl) on a huge foldable container parked outside the Battersea Power Plant (so there was a nice backdrop to it, but not seen on this photo)

and followed it by Adam K's Unholly Trinity

The Crossmakers

Tom Bright

and The Purple Lights, all in the evening, at the Monarch.
