An opening

at which you can see the work in progress.
Followed by a  concert of two bands I have never seen before.
What more could a man ask for (well I can think of something, but that is another story (one of woe), and I wouldn't want to bore you all with the details of it in this blog).

The fun and games

started early in the afternoon with two actors debating Dostoevsky in Glej
and continued in the evening with a few people standing around while the policemen were waiting in the background (even though they did appear slightly two dimensional)
and ended with a concert.

Wednesday 20 April 2016

I bet this was why Wednesday used to be a day off school in France (or at least that was what we were led to believe)

As I was walking from one opening

to another

I bumped into this guy
(obviously not with a microphone in his hand, as this photo was taken a few hours later) who invited me to his gig, At the time I was not sure I will make it (you remember, I was walking to an opening), but in the end I did (make it that is). While watching the band before him
(no, this is not the entire band that played before him, this is just the singer)
I also saw a girl pretending to be at the seaside
(and it seemed to be great fun, and yes, I want to go to the seaside now)
while his guitar gently wept.

The performance

with some serious questions in the morning
the drummer at the concert in the evening
and the fans (from the concert or the performance?)

Some people

say he attends cultural events in the hope he will appear on my blog one day. I don't know if that is true or not, but if it is this should make his day.

Love

I bet I am doing it all wrong, as I often lie alone in bed at night, staring into the dark void surrounding me.

Saturday 2 April 2016

I listened

to some Georgian songs and didn't understand a word. Not a single word, I tell you.

Friday 1 April 2016

I left

the class of '91 for a few minutes and sneaked inside for one song (you know me).
