Broken elbow

I broke my elbow a few weeks ago, cycling. Slipped on a patch of ice. So you can't hire me for photography at the moment. But, I did go to see a sort of poetry evening (poems by Tomaž Šalamun) made into a performance/theatre piece and I thought, I know, I will take my little camera with a fixed 40mm lens and see if I can take any reasonable photos with one hand and a fixed lens. Of course, the results were not quite as good as I would have wanted. but I managed to take a few photos without my arm falling off. Looking forward to my elbow getting better and picking up my proper camera.

Student Theatre 9.0, day 1

In the first play we knew the beginning and the end, but were trying to find the bit in between.

While the second one was all about war (even though it is hard to tell from this photo).

Two dance solos in one day (almost like in the good old times)

First, I went to see Nicole dance to Emil's music for the short dance film they are making. As they were filming it I only saw one part of it (but many times) and heard the same part of the track over and over again (but I will see the whole thing one day soon).

After a quick drink with the crew, I rushed to PTL to see Ana rehearse her first dance solo, and I took a few photos there too... (aren't I the lucky one)

International Mother Language Day (also known as my father's birthday - Happy Birthday!)

so I went to listen to some people read their writings (mainly poetry) in their mother languages. As there were too many to chose a photo for the blog I went for a photo of the singer of the band that played in between.
