A week

after going to an opening of a box in a suitcase (or more of them actually), I ended up at an opening of an exhibition of the names of contemporary Slovene painters in a flat.

Bogdan Borčić

or my grandmother's brother. He had a great opening last night in Cankarjev dom. Of course quite a few of us relatives turned up and we took a few daft photos to honour his work (more photos). So, if you have the time and happen to be in Ljubljana, pop along to the exhibition (I know shameless promotion of a relative when I see one).

What a day

Of course it went all wrong. Of course there was much more running around than one had planned. Of course the cold started to spread through the body. Of course you didn't see the daylight, except through the dusty windscreen.
But in the end all of the paintings and photos hung on the walls. People turned up. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. And the musicians came. And surprised you with three of your songs, when you thought there would only be one.
