and then I went with a bunch of dancers to hell for a dance, quick dip under the waterfall and a small picnic.

Started with...

David dancing in nature (a part where nature is reclaiming the city)

continued with a stroll through another part where nature is reclaiming the city and a bit of a talk on invasive species

and ended in a gallery reclaimed by a mono-play.

STUDY We are not your matter

Went to see Ryuzo (dance) and Zsuzsanna's (visuals) performance at Cirkulacija 2 today. Apart from enjoying the performance it was also a good opportunity to catch up with some of my friends.

First day of the Haludovo residency

Finally! After I stumbled across this abandoned hotel in 2015 and coming up with the idea to take some photographs of Gregor dancing in this place, we finally managed to find some time to do it. This is day 1 of what we decided to call our Haludovo residency. More days to come :)

DISKOrespondence No. 22

This time I went to visit Grega and Marjeta on this early Saturday morning in an attempt to push the darkness from my mind at least a few minutes.

World Dance Day

for the second year running, the Ljubljana dancers celebrated the international dance day with Pina Bausch's choreography: The Nelken Line. In the open air, through town, to the enjoyment of the performers and most of the passers-by (and this photographer of course)

International dance day

We celebrated the International Dance Day today,

and I assume it was only fitting that the first photos from the period in which all cultural institutions

are closed are of dance, as dance was the last thing I photographed before lockdown.

International Busking Day

at Wembley Park, with Impact Dance (ufff I miss taking dance photos)

the one man band Lewis Floyd Henry

Keelan Phillips trying to 'talk' the girl into a date

the Rooftop Trio taking us all back in time, when we still had things like lover's lanes and apple trees

Nina Nesbitt doing her performance before shooting off to Sheffield to do an evening concert (did I remember that correctly?)

Newton Faulkner almost getting the tuning right

and Keywest brought it all to an end (but only after I had a most terrible fall with my camera and my most cherished lens - the memory is still to painful (but my knees and calf are getting better) to go into that).

A dance

intervention in a nice, slightly decrepit place, that has a feeling that it will be the place of this summer.
