The hectic (but fun) festival days begin

 with the violent early afternoon rehearsal by the Students in Glej

and as I got kicked out of the same rehearsal twice for being too early I popped down to the local library for a quick concert (nothing to do with festivals) before returning to the rehearsal (third time lucky (yey!))

where I just let myself get lost in the darkness of the theatre.

A nice

evening at the local tea house with loads of new people.

One day

we will live in a better world, until then we better do something about it.

There might have been an exhibition opening yesterday

and I might have one or two photos in it (but not the ones you can see here)

and it might have been followed by a concert.
(But then I guess you had to be there to know whether all this happened or not)

At the opening

we were all wondering who were the poor souls (or sausages would seem appropriate in this case) who got wrapped up and left in the gallery for the next 3 weeks.

At the first concert of the night (this is only 1 of the 3 musicians playing at this concert and only the first of the three bands I was to see that evening) we just relaxed in a secret garden in the middle of Metelkova and forgot all about the poor sausages from the exhibition.

Something was missing

in my life, so I decided to walk into the light and see what happens.
As I did, I realised I was doing it all wrong. I mean, how can the rest of us possibly surpass someone like Andre and his romantic gestures*? No wonder I have been without a girlfriend for so long.
(keep your fingers crossed that I have learnt something from this and that I successfully return from the bright light).

They say Dostoyevsky

is hard to get, so I thought I would go and photograph this performance again.

Two wacky concerts

in the same town, on the same day and at the same time... I had to decide somehow... And as I have already seen The Tiger Lillies and as I knew there would be enough people there anyway, I decided to go and see Alicia Edelweiss instead (who also played the accordion).

Back to the theatre

to see what the young ones are up to.

I always wanted to see the Arctic Monkeys playing live

Well, I still do, but now I have at least seen the Drunken Monkeys in concert.

Waiting

They took

me to a different universe (but they didn't leave me there).

And...

I am back in Ljubljana, almost straight from the car to a dance performance

 and a concert.
