Another day of 4Ukrep

 

Started off in Prulček with the dance performance Vulneri,

continued with a short series of short dance films and a short discussion afterwards. 

 and ended with an outdoor performance (Verpete), which mainly took place in the dark

(but did you notice a similarity with the first performance?)

Spider Festival

I always enjoy the spider festival. Good performances in an excellent setting. Unfortunately I only managed one day this year. The first performance I saw this day was Elisa Zuppini's Himalaya.

Followed by Reinaldo Ribeiro's NO MAS SACRE

and Aha Collective's Dense Piece.

Day 2 of Ukrep festival

and I went to see Zsuzsa Rózsavölgyi's performance 1.7, which was a rather relaxed presentation (in the way it was delivered) of some heavy themes.   

The performances

of day 2 of the festival started off with a duet from three countries.

followed by a home grown solo by two choreographers

and a trio that made us spin

but of course, in the end, we all end up wrapped in a plastic bag, under the bridge downtown, alone.

I had a

 cameo appearance in her performance 

but in the end I was swept off stage (as one often is when the night is over)

Unfortunately

all great things come to an end, and this year's CoFestival is over for me. I missed a lot of it at the beginning, but I am sure I will see a few more performances soon...

Snow blizzard

indoors, begining of summer in Ljubljana.

The way

they move, explore, play games, enjoy the moments and make the time to observe life makes you think: If I was stranded on a deserted island it would just have to be with them (and my camera).

Maybe

it is time for the two of us to take a moment.

It's been a hard day's night

Days are full, nights are short, and I am floating on air (oh yes, happy days).

This is

my mirror reflection on a good day.

A bit sort of lost in space

but at least they have each other's company. But as much as I have seen, as long as they stick together they will continue to have fun.

Dance

with me. Now that the dance festival season started, there is little else you can do.
