Surf rock

I can't really get into it without the breaking waves, blue skies, at least one woody and a couple of surfs on its roof, and girls in bikinis in the background.

Trnfest 2013

some say it is the last one. Ever. Last year they told us it might be the last one. Ever. But today was the first day. And there are more than 30 to go. I guess this means we have to party like there is no tomorrow. Or at least as if there will be no Trnfest next year. So, see you there.

I think

 I saw the first ever concert of this band years ago (I know I went to see them years ago, but I think it was their first ever). It is always great to see  things for the first time (just like the title of the first Repetitor album which translates roughly as All that I see, I see for the first time.) 

Bluetrain

last stop: Coltrane.

Strolling

into the old part of the city, getting tapped on the shoulder by Dr. Who, who whisks me off into the 1920s. Cocktails and wild swinging (no silly, the dance) all night, and waking up the next morning in a large and empty bed in the 21st century.

Leonard

A real classic, whose lyrics I have always enjoyed, and I am glad I got the chance to see him in concert and take a few snaps of him while listening.

Hugh

Laurie and the Copper Bottom band playing the blues. Definitely a blues concert that will not make you leave feeling blue.
(p.s. and just to mix it up all a bit (because you know me, I do like to mix it all up a bit) - this is the closest I ever got to a bit of Fry and Laurie - I saw a bit of Laurie and maybe Fry will see a bit of this via Twitter)

I guess most of you will have no idea what I am on about (and you will ponder for almost seconds as to why you have to look at this photo (taken by Tjasa N., btw), and those of you will probably have to read all about at some other stage (hmm, maybe in the partially (emphasis on partially) autobiographical novel I just might start writing in the long dark winter), but for the ones who know what it is all about, this photo might put a petit smile on your face.

Student

fashion show. As you have probably noticed I don't often go to fashion shows, but every now and then, for a change, I will say why not. 

Mascara

was the name of the band that gave us some summer evening fado and tango music, but I didn't notice the guitar player wearing any.

Badges!

First badges I ever had made, and I think it is great to see my photos in a different format.

Haven't

been here since my schooldays. I really need and want to travel more. Destinations I would like to go in the near future: the coast for a splash, the south of France, London + a round trip of UK, Norway, Ireland. This should do for starters. Need to sort a few things (in my life) out first (oh why do I need to sort everything out always?!?) and then I can start looking for a way to pay my way round these places (any ideas welcome).

One of the many

The jazz festival

came and went once again, and I missed the things I planned to go and see (I really need to get better organised).

I have

no idea why they always keep telling us not to play with fire - it looks great fun (not to mention impressive).

These guys

were great fun and you should go to see them if they come to your town (if they were released from prison, of course).

Excellent

live band (and no, I am not saying this because they have a girl bass player and drummer).

The mechanical bull

was going straight for me, but I didn't flinch.

The Ljubljana Jazz festival kicked off

with an exhibition opening and a concert.

Photographing

a photography exhibition is always a strange experience, but this shouldn't be a reason not to show you what is going on in the photography field.
