Michele had to do it on her own tonight

as Romeo was locked in a basement far away recording some new tracks,
but she got us Roisin McNeill

and of course Michele played a set

and then James Jackman and the Blue Moon brought the evening to an end

but at the very end everybody joined in.

And as it was my first day off in almost a month I went to another concert, where I saw Kit Downes (on photo) and Tom Challenger perform their new LP Vyamanikal (for church organ and Saxophone)

followed by Whiskey Moonface performing their new album

Chastity Brown

 played the Green Note tonight

Ruth Theodore opened up for her

(and just to keep things even here is a mid-concert portrait of her too.)

Having a fun evening

with the Parkin brothers at the Harrison, listening to the Brazilian Roda jam session ft. Choro Alvorada

and while they were on a break I was allowed to take a peek into the basement at the Harrison and listen to a few songs by the Assembly Line.

The only one from

The Bloom to show up, but luckily he could play us a few tunes on his own
(imagine if only the triangle guy showed up)

Jimmy Regal managed to bring along his Royals (but I'll only show him here)

And even though they were Drunk On Tuesday
at least they all managed to get down to Acklam by Saturday.

(But of course the afternoon just wouldn't happen without Wills)
