Outdoor exhibition
Probably will not work in the rain, but perfect for the weather we are having at the moment. Love to see art in the streets and there should be more of it, for this is in reality the only way to make art accessible to all. And it should be accessible to all. After all, how do you know you are not interested if you never went to an exhibition, a play, a performance or a concert, or went to only one in your school years and even then you went only because you were forced to and of course you disliked it, when you would rather be playing footie with the boys. So, thumbs up to this idea.

Sunflower field
forever. Found this while cycling. Of course this meant I only had my phone cam with me, but I liked the field so much I am determined to return with my proper camera and try to take a photo or two with it. I think it was the first time I ever stumbled into a sunflower field in my life... I know. At my age? Preposterous!

Rock 'n'roll
but without the drugs and without the sex... that's how the day felt... as if rocks were thrown at me for so long I could no longer take it, and I fell upon the ground and rolled down... down... lower... into the abyss... bounced off a few ledges on the way and splattered in the dark...
But they do say another day will dawn...

Bob Dylan
songs... Not much of his fan, but the more I thought about it the more I realised that it is really just his singing I don't like... But then I went to a concert of his songs performed by different bands, each in their own distinctive style, and I realised that I actually had a really good evening out.

Stumbling
through someone else's subconscious... No idea what you will find and where it will lead to...
Sometimes your own subconscious is lurking right behind you... Following your every move... Taking over a ghostly appearance...No, don't turn around! Continue with what you are doing...
Covering your eyes and burying your head in the sand will not help you escape from your subconscious... It will always be there... Overwhelming... You cannot hide. You cannot escape.

Learn to fail better
Inspired by Beckett, the two performers learned how to excellently fail to take gravity into consideration and hit the ground. I wonder if I could fail as well as they did?
(The text that is inspiring all this is Beckett's Worstward Ho... a short excerpt of this short work:
On. Say on. Be said on. Somehow on. Till nohow on. Said nohow on.
Say for be said. Missaid. From now say for missaid.
Say a body. Where none. No mind. Where none. That at least. A place. Where none. For the body. To be
in. Move in. Out of. Back into. No. No out. No back. Only in. Stay in. On in. Still.
All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
... First try fail better one.
...
Then try fail better two.Thursday, 15 September 2011

I am a cheat
but at least I own up to it at the same moment. You see normally (or usually might be a better word) I post a photo I take on the day of the blog post. Of course this is all made possible by the wonderful achievements in electronics and the digital camera. But this time I am posting a photo that was taken on film, with a very cheap looking (but fun) plastic Pop 9 Lomo camera. And it only came to me in digital form (so it can be posted on here) now. So here it goes, say goodbye to realtime updates* and trust me you see it almost as soon as I see it.
*(obviously this is a one-off (or maybe it will be repeated occassionally), so by tomorrow, it will all be almost realtime updates)

Invited
You are all invited to a special public we-are-in-the-middle-of-the-process rehearsal, on Wednesday at 5 pm. Cankarjev dom. Duša Počkaj. I will probably be the one with a paper bag over my head (plastic is just to dangerous), but then you are all used to it by now.
Remember, no event can startle you as much as it may startle us.

Another day
at rehersals. Beckett & Freud are sipping coffee in the corner. Smiling. Taking notes. Every now and then they look at each other. Wink. Nudge. Samo & Ryuzo are having a picnic in a dark room. Occasionally Toni and Sunčan catch a shadow or a thought whizzing by. Hitting the wall. Climbing to the ceiling and falling down again. Exhausted. On the floor. Breathing deeply. Breathing quickly. Giving way to a new thought.

Cycling
again. I only took four photos today (which is not a lot by my standards). And all of the ones I took, I took with my phone while cycling. (Can they truly be called photos if they are done with a mobile phone?). Usually I see something while cycling, stop and take a photo, this one though I took, when Tanja (yes for a change I had company on my short morning cycling tour) and I stopped at the lake for tea and coffee (but not sympathy mind you). So this is where we sat for morning tea, great isn't it? Maybe this photo will convince somebody else to join me some other day...
